Conditioner & Stabilizer (Cyanuric Acid) protects free available chlorine from being destroyed by the ultraviolet rays of the sun. In two to three hours, direct sunlight degrades 90% of available non-stabilized chlorine in pool water.
Pools that utilize non-stabilized chlorine often experience a roller-coaster sanitizer level. Immediately after adding chlorine, the chlorine level will test very high. A similar test within a few hours will report virtually no chlorine in the water. Not only will utilizing stabilizer & conditioner help to ensure a constant chlorine level, thus providing the cleanest, safest water possible, it will also save you money over the life of the pool. A stabilizer & conditioner reading of thirty to sixty parts per million indicate an ideal level.

When adding Poolife Stabilizer & Conditioner to a pool, always adjust the level over several days. After adding the stabilizer & conditioner, retest the water to determine the current level and adjust as necessary.
